Discounts and Rebates

Students may take advantage of one of the following rebates:

"Bring-A-Friend" Rebate

This is a $50.00 rebate, given when two or more friends or family members attend and complete the course together.

The rebate will be given only if the initial caller inquires about the offer and gives the name of a friend or family member that will  be attending the course. This inquiry does not have to be made during the initial call, but can only be made by the initial caller.

1.    If the initial caller is a parent, a second call by the student inquiring or giving details of the second student will qualify.

2.    The second family member or friend must then call to confirm their seat, indicate which friend they are coming with and attend the course in order for the rebate to be given to the original caller.

3.    The original caller MUST attend the course in order for the rebate to be given to the second family member or the friend.

4.    If one of the students cannot attend the course, the other family member or friend may be eligible for the rebate if they are then able to “bring a friend” or a family member.

NOTE:  This $50.00 amount will be available to each attendee who has given notice in advance of course attendance of their intention to “Bring a Friend”.**

"CHOMP" Rebate

This $50.00 rebate is available to students of Lakeshore Catholic High School upon presentation of a current and valid CHOMP card.  CHOMP cards need to be photocopied by GORD'S staff either when registering in advance or the first day of course.

CHOMP rebates are only available to students who attend a complete Beginner Driver Education course.  This rebate does not apply to driving lessons alone.**

Please be aware that these rebates will be given in the form of a cheque made out to the student and will be handed out the last day of class.  They are NOT discounted at the time a student pays!!

** Students who make a partial payment on their chosen course will not receive a rebate cheque.  Instead, the equivalent of the rebate will be deducted from the student's balance owed to Gord's.

In addition to a rebate, students may also qualify for the following::

Pre-payment Discount

This is a discount of $25.00 off of the complete course fee and applies when a student pays the entire course fee at least one week in advance of their chosen course.  The discount will be given at the time of payment.  To inquire about the pre-payment cut-off date for your chosen course, please call GORD'S and speak to a staff member.

Send-A-Friend Referral Fee

This is GORD'S way of saying, "Thank-you!" to our students for placing their trust in us.  Each student who attends our Beginner Driver's Education course will receive two Send-A-Friend certificates the last day of class.  These certificates may be used to refer new students to GORD'S Driving School.  Simply give your certificate to a student who plans to come to GORD'S in the near future.  If they attend one of our beginner driver education courses and hand in your certificate, we will mail you a cheque for $25.00!  Certain "rules" apply to the use of these certificates, which can be found printed on the back of each one.  Additional certificates can be mailed to students upon request.
